Famous in Love actress Bella Thorne is constantly inspiring her fans by being open about her sexuality, confident in who she is, and by being totally friendly and totally herself both on social media and in-person.
As die-hard Bella fans know, her Twitter feed should be preserved in a museum. She often answers fan tweets, shares empowering, beautiful thoughts, and — most pertinent to this article — she’s super funny, and she lets us know.
We’ve rounded up seven of Bella‘s funniest tweets for your enjoyment. You’re welcome.
When you think of Zendaya, you think of Bella Thorne, and when you think of Bella, you most definitely think of Zendaya.
The former Shake It Up co-stars are talking about reuniting once again on Bella‘s new show, Famous in Love.
“Luckily I can have some of my actual friends come on,” Bellashared about the guest stars you’ll see over the season, adding that “Zendaya almost did a guest star and then she had to go to New York and she couldn’t.”
But have no fear! “She’ll definitely be on next season,” Bella says.
Best news ever?! We think so!
Bella also guest starred on Zendaya‘s Disney show, K.C. Undercover.
However, the actress revealed that at one point she didn’t even want to be on a Disney show or turn out to be a “Disney girl”.
“Do you think that I wanted to be a Disney girl? Did you think I wanted to do that? We were about to live physically on the street if I didn’t have that role,” she revealed to MTV.
Bella says while she didn’t want to do it, she did out of necessity.
“We were living off Stouffer’s coupons, and that’s all we had to eat every day. That may not sound like a big deal to everybody, but when you’re a single mom raising four kids with debt and you have nothing to your name, it’s f****** shitty.”
Bella adds about her audition: “I didn’t want to audition for Shake It Up!. I literally said in my audition, ‘I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I’m basically tone deaf, and I’m not funny. So I don’t know why I’m here.’ And everybody just started laughing. They all thought it was a joke.”
WHAT DO YOU THINK about what Bella said about this?
Bella Thorne is a do it yourself kind of woman now — even when it comes to her makeup.
Speaking with Yahoo, the Famous in Love actress opened up on just why she hates touchups and will actually be the only one doing her makeup from now on.
“Anytime I’m wearing makeup, just know that I’m doing it,” she says, revealing that she “got dermatitis from working on a movie, and I’ll never let that happen again. Especially on movies, they don’t use the right products and my skin is allergic to a bunch of stuff.”
Eek! And no touch-ups either!
“I don’t care if my nose is shiny,” Bella says. “Please don’t touch me. So what? I’m playing a teenager. My nose is shiny.”
Earlier this month, Bella Thornefaced backlash after posting a tweet about going through depression, and she wants to clear it up.
“I took it down because maybe some people were hurt by what I said in some way,” Bella explains. “I just wanted to say, ‘You’re not alone.’ The people you think have the most perfect lives, don’t.”
She adds that she understands why some took her self-diagnosis the wrong way.
“I wasn’t saying that I clinically went to a doctor. I didn’t know it was a big thing,” she says. “You can judge me for believing my beliefs. In my family, we never went to doctors growing up. I don’t like medication. I don’t even take birth control. I won’t even take Advil or Tylenol. I power through. I’m all natural.”
“It’s so OK for you to be unhappy, or to think these things. You’re only making it more sad, the more you don’t talk about it,” Bella continues. “It’s OK for your mind to naturally wander and for you to be sad. Sometimes, you’re just sad.”
She adds, “Your arc in life is to be a happier, better person, the more you grow. If you’re shutting yourself off, you’re never just saying it or getting help for yourself in that way.”
