Jack & Jack Share Wild Fan Stories With 'Prune' Mag

Jack & Jack are twinning for the November issue of Prune magazine.

The duo – Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky – talked about crazy fan stories, their music, tour, and fashion.

“A girl ran on to the bus one time, but our security threw her off,” Jack G shared about one fan on tour.

“I was on stage in Chile and I had ripped jeans on,” Jack J said. “I went up to the barricade and lost an entire jean leg off my jeans because a girl grabbed it and ripped the entire thing off. I had a flappy weird capris jean thing on the rest of the show. It was crazy to me. But also, one time down in Brazil our bus started rocking back and forth because the fans were really rowdy and shaking it. It was actually pretty scary.”

Chrissie Fit Talks Joining Pitch Perfect Franchise With 'NKD Mag'

Chrissie Fit Talks Joining Pitch Perfect Franchise With 'NKD Mag'

Chrissie Fit may have started out as a new girl, but she’s definitely proved she deserved her spot in the Barden Bellas!

Speaking with NKD Magazine, the Teen Beach Movie actress opened up about joining Pitch Perfect 2, getting help from Elizabeth Banks, and the upcoming third installment.

“This movie shows how each of them struggles trying to find their place without being part of a group. Then you see them reunite and that’s going to be super fun. It becomes an action movie at one point. It’s aca-action,” she said about PP3. “We all had to go through stunt training. Rebel did more than the rest of us. We really wanted to up the stakes and more music, more dance, more, just more for the fans that are so amazing and supportive.”

“She literally took me to dance rehearsal like it was the first day of school,” Chrissie said about Elizabeth helping make her feel welcomed.

As for how close the cast is, “We either do Bella Boot Camp where we’re learning songs and dances or we’re watching The Bachelor together. Rebel Wilson also loves to go to the movie theater so we would go all the time… During the second movie, I became so protective of them because people knew them and they didn’t know who I was. I became security whenever we went out. I’m like 5-foot- nothing, but I’m pretty intimidating when I have to be.”

Stranger Things' Noah Schnapp Found Out He Got The Part of Will While He Was At Camp

Stranger Things' Noah Schnapp Found Out He Got The Part of Will While He Was At Camp

There are some really cute audition stories out here — but Stranger ThingsNoah Schnapp‘s has to the best one.

Speaking with NKD magazine in their November issue, the actor who plays Will Byers on the show, revealed that he was actually at camp when he learned he got the part.

“I go to camp every summer for seven weeks and it’s like sleepaway camp,” Noah explains. “You have three phone calls every summer with your parents and I was on my last phone call. And this was some audition blurred with all the other auditions I did, so I didn’t remember what it was, but I remember them calling me.”

He adds that the project was as originally called Montauk, and he auditioned for the role of Mike.

“They called me and they were like, ‘Hey, Noah!’ and I was like, ‘Who’s this?’ and they said, ‘Oh, you got the role of Will Byers on Montauk!’ and then they explained the whole thing and I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ and I was so excited and things have just been going from there.”

Noah also adds that the unique storyline truly pulled him in from the start.

“It was just very different from things I’ve seen,” he says. “I’ve never seen any story like that, where a kid goes missing and there’s monsters, but there’s a girl with powers who comes in and saves them.”

He adds, “I thought it would be really cool to play a role where I go missing and people look for me and I’m in this other world.”

Stranger Things is streaming now on Netflix.

Anne Winters Loves That '13 Reasons Why' is Pushing Boundaries

Anne Winters Loves That '13 Reasons Why' is Pushing Boundaries

Anne Winters is opening up about joining the cast of 13 Reasons Why.

The 23-year-old actress, who you may have seen on Zac and Mia recently, will be in the upcoming second season of the Netflix show.

“She has some things going on with Bryce and Jessica,” Anne revealed to NKD Magazine about her character. “I think people might have their reservations about her at first but she’s a very fun and likeable character. The second season definitely explains a lot of unanswered questions from the last season and will actually give fans a lot more backstory about the different characters. Most importantly, it’s still going to keep its core message about shining light on depression and suicide prevention.”

Anne also talked about how it felt like home, even though she was joining in the second season. “Everyone there is there for a purpose and everyone is a family,” she said. “The cast is amazing and we all get along so well. I remember being so excited – and then so nervous – to start working there but it’s just been great; the 13 Reasons Why set is literally home for me.”

As for what drew her to the role and the show, she dished, “I think it’s one of the only shows that’s not afraid to push the limits and break all the boundaries; I think that’s so important when it comes to telling a story. We can all choose to live in an ‘ignorance is bliss’ world, but it’s better to be aware and pay attention and know that the way our words and actions affect people are real.”

Landry Bender On 'Best Friends Whenever' Cancellation: 'It Was Sad at First'

Landry Bender reminisced about Best Friends Whenever and it hit us right in the feels!

The 17-year-old actress talked to NKD mag about the show ending and looking forward to her future.

“It was sad at first. Anytime you invest yourself in something it’s hard to let that go, but I’m still very, very close with the cast,” she said about the show’s cancellation. “I’ve never had a boyfriend, but it’s sort of like a breakup.”

Besides being an actress, Landry is really looking forward to continuing her education.

“I just had a meeting with my guidance counselor about this, right before I came to New York,” Landry said. “Education is something that’s very important to me, and just because I’m an actor I don’t want to not go to college. That’s what a lot of child actors do and I don’t want to go down that route.”

She also wants to get more into the production side of the business. “The fact that I do get to be on sets and observe everyone is something that’s very cool,” she said. “I get to be a fly on the wall sometimes and watch directors and producers.

Nathan Kress Dishes on New Series 'Alive in Denver' with NKD Mag

Nathan Kress is a stud in a button up for his NKD Magazine feature.

In the mag, the 25-year-old former iCarly actor spoke about his new role in the Fullscreen show Alive in Denver!

The comedy follows a “group of friends who get together the night before the apocalypse and reveal their deepest secrets to each other…only the the world doesn’t end,” according to Deadline.

“They all start getting freaked out and they all start to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets about themselves, because they figure that they’re all going to die anyway, so why not get everything off their chests,” Nathan said about the show. “They’re left with the fact that they just revealed everything about themselves, and they didn’t die, so now they have to deal with the fallout.”

“It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done,” he added about filming. “When I read the script for the first time pretty much every page had something that made me laugh out loud, and then I would read the script again five days later, and I would still laugh out loud.”

“If I wasn’t in it I would be a huge fan,” he said.

Ivana Baquero Says 'The Shannara Chronicles' Was A Challenge At First

Ivana Baquero Says 'The Shannara Chronicles' Was A Challenge At First

Ivana Baquero looks cute and fun in her feature for NKD Magazine!

The 23-year-old actress dished on her role in The Shannara Chronicles, her first television show!

“It was a challenge at first because she starts off doing things that are easily judged. Her behaviors were a little bit, you know, rough. She didn’t trust Will so she would do strange things,” Ivana said. “She grew up in a very tough, hostile atmosphere, she was abused as a kid so you really understand where she comes from.”

“I grew so fond of her, and it’s my first TV show so having the opportunity to play a character for so long versus the cinema or movies where you play a character for two or three months, I’ve now played Eretria for a good, solid year,” she continued. “I feel really connected to her. There’s so many things we have in common.” But the fans couldn’t be more shocked when they meet Ivana in real life. “I look so different from her, and I sound so different. People see me in person and they’re like ‘Oh my God! You’re Eretria! You look so sweet and little and cute! You don’t look like her at all you don’t act like her!’”
